• Semi Permanent Brows

  Microshading Microblading + Shading these two techniques combined gives the brows a “filled in” look which resembles makeup, but still appears natural because of the hair strokes from microblading. This also can benefit those with little to no hair by adding more density to help blend the areas with less. Book Now Microblading A semi permanent tattoo that is done by using a manual blade in order to create hair-like strokes. This technique gives the brows a more natural appearance as if its your real hair ! Book Now OMBRE POWDER BROW This method is done by machine and a makeup lovers favorite! It resembles a powder filled in brow similar to the look of makeup meaning the tails of the brow are darker, and fade into a light start of the brow, giving it a very subtle look. Book Now Important Information Additional Information In order for your new brows to heal properly (and look their best) these Pre & Post Care Instructions found below are of the UTMOST IMPORTANCE! Pre-Care instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessing bleeding during the procedure will dilute the pigment color and lead to poor results! ​ PRE CARE Do not work out 24 hours before procedure. NO alcohol or caffeine 48 hours before procedure (Yes, there is caffeine in decaf coffee and tea!). Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure. Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure. Avoid Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc), "Hair, Skin, Nail" supplements 48 hours prior to procedure. Discontinue Retin-A, Chemical and Laser Peels, microdermabrasions, and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) atleast 6 weeks prior (and avoid on eyebrow area after procedure to prevent premature fading). Botox and filler on the forehead, temple, and eye area should be avoided 1 month prior to procedure for those who do not regularly receive injectables. Avoid the following herbs and spices 48 hours before procedure: ginger, cinnamon, garlic, black and cayenne pepper. No brow waxing, tinting, or threading one week prior (the more natural hair growth you have, the better!. Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle. post CARE Microblading post-care is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Do not let any lotion, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 14 days after your procedure. For the next 8 hours use a damp cotton round or paper towel and gently pat on the treated area every 30 mins to absorb any excess lymph Day 1 ( tomorrow): Wash your brows one time in the morning with an antibacterial soap rinse thoroughly, pat dry with a clean paper towel. Day 2-10: Gently wash the brows with antibacterial soap once in the morning, rinse thoroughly, pat dry with a clean paper towel and apply rice grain size amount of aquaphor to both brows. Repeat the process at night. ​ The following must be avoided during all 14 days post-microblading procedure:​ Increased sweating Practicing sports Swimming Hot sauna, hot bath, or Jacuzzi Sun tanning or salon tanning UV/UVA Rays or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in color and premature fading Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the face or neck Picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, or motorcycles Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care cream with a cotton swab During the shower, keep your face away from the shower head and avoid hot showers.​ Itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post-microblading procedure. However, experience has shown that by following these after-care instructions, these symptoms may quickly disappear. If you have any unexpected problems with the healing of the skin, please contact FAIRYTALE LASHES & SPA immediately, to discuss further instructions.​ Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: fever, redness at the site, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, elevated body temperature, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, and/or any green/yellow discharge that is foul in odor.
